My name is Cristian Burcea, and most people in the trading community know me as Crisbur. I'm the creator behind this website, and I’m excited to share my story and the insights I’ve gained over the years. My journey into trading began in 2013, with a degree in economics. Although I also enrolled in law school, I decided to leave when I started seeing real results from trading. By 2016, after overcoming numerous challenges, I achieved consistent profitability, turning my passion into a full-time career.In 2018, together with my long-time friend and business partner, Alex, I co-founded CFX, a project dedicated to empowering traders in Romania. Together, we created and refined trading systems designed to help passionate individuals in Romania develop their skills and strategies. Through CFX, I’ve had the opportunity to host hundreds of webinars, seminars, and podcasts, and had a national TV appearance in December 2018, where I shared valuable insights with a wider audience of traders.In 2020, I obtained a Level 4 Diploma in Trading & Financial Market Analysis from The London Institute of Banking & Finance. This course was delivered by Amplify Trading, a London-based prop firm I first discovered through the documentary Traders: Millions by the Minute.Today, my primary focus is day trading the Futures market, utilizing advanced platforms like Sierra Chart and tools like Market Profile, Volume Profile, Footprints, Cumulative Delta, VWAP and custom order flow triggers to fine-tune my strategies. While I also engage in long-term investing, primarily in U.S. stocks and ETFs, my true passion lies in scalping and day trading. You need to place the .CHT file in the Sierra Chart "Data" folder. After that, open Sierra Chart, go to File > Open Chartbook, and select your template. Quick tip: Set Sierra Chart to New York time in Global Settings. The template is based on this timezone, and it’s much easier than adjusting each chart individually. You can change the global time zone by going to: Global Settings → Time Zone Settings from the main menu.
